HISTORY
Founded in April of 1993, Sto. Rosario Village School began as a small tutorial center for painting and drawing, inspired by the vision of Dr. Remedios Grageda and her husband, Nestor Grageda Sr. Driven by a deep passion for education, Dr. Grageda—who earned her BS in Education from the University of San Jose and her PhD from Ateneo de Cagayan (Xavier University) in 1985—sought to share her expertise with the community.
What started as an art-focused learning center soon evolved into a full-fledged preschool and elementary school, continuing the dream of the founders’ parents: to mold and develop young boys and girls into well-rounded individuals. With a commitment to early literacy and numeracy, the school was established to give young learners a strong foundation for lifelong success, ensuring that quality education is accessible to families in this part of Mindanao.
Now, Sto. Rosario Village School stands as a leading institution in childhood education, offering a world-class curriculum that combines internationally benchmarked strategies, hands-on learning, and expert-guided teaching. With a team of highly trained educators, we remain dedicated to nurturing young minds, fostering independence, and shaping values that go beyond the classroom.
